This one thing stops SOOOO many business owners from getting the brand visibility they deserve...Don't be one of them.

What? A bit dramatic? Ok, maybe - but I didn't want you to miss this!

We still have to talk about my 18th and final tip to increase you brand visibility and unlike the others, this one is a what NOT to do.

18) Don't guess what your ideal clients want

My previous 17 points have all been focused on different ways that you can add value to your ideal clients. Whether it be via blogging, podcasting, videos or Facebook groups, the essential element that exists in all of them, is providing your target audience with something of value - for free.

In order for ANY of those strategies to work, you need to know who your ideal clients are and you need to know what they value.

There, I said it.

Don't assume you know what they value.

Don't just give them what you think they need (did Henry Ford teach us nothing?)

And DEFINITELY DON'T just write what YOU want because it's interesting for YOU...

So how on earth am I supposed to know what to write about?

Well, here are just a few ideas to help you along your way:

  • check
Check out forums and sites such as Quora to find out what questions people are asking in your niche
  • check
Try using a fantastic site called AnswerthePublic.com - you'll enter a topic related to your niche and bish, bash, bosh - you'll see a huge list of questions related to that topic, that people are actually typing into search engines.  Pretty nifty right?
  • check
Lastly, ASK. It doesn't matter that your list isn't very big yet - ask them any way and then go find Facebook groups, LinkedIn groups or wherever you ideal clients hang out - and just ask! 'When it comes to xyz, what's your biggest challenge right now?' or 'What really frustrates you about xyz at the moment?'

Then, plan your blog posts, videos, podcasts or whatever it may be around the answers that you get.

Wish someone could just take a look at your blog and let you know if you're on the right lines?

Ooop - here's that offer I mentioned earlier!  For the next 72 hours, I'm giving you access to my Blog Clinic for half price! That's just £19.99.  You submit a blog post and I'll take a look at it AND the rest of your site and then I'll send you a personalised video with feedback on everything from your topic, your headline, your copy, your layout - and more!
